What happens in dance camp?
We proudly offer and adventure theme each week such as “Beach Adventure” “Road trip Adventure” or “Space Adventure”. The camp songs, dance choreography and crafts will revolve around that theme.
We also play games such as tag games, cooperative games and drama games. Your child’s camp experience goes way beyond that as well.
On the 1st day of each camp week we will announce the “Character trait of the Week” such as fairness, citizenship or respect. We take the time to teach about good character and use many opportunities to recognize campers for demonstrating good character attributes.
We teach the campers how to set a goal for the week and we help them work towards that goal. We also help the children write their own affirmation to promote the practice of positive thinking and positive self-talk.
As expected, the campers will dance, sing, act, do arts & crafts and play games each and every single day.
As a little bonus gift to your child, our staff will also read a storybook aloud to the campers daily and give them free time to socialize and make life-long friends.
